Cette approche permet aux élèves de tous âges et de tous niveaux de développer leur propre sensibilité, de la stimuler et de libérer leur geste. L'apprentissage progressif de diverses techniques et matières picturales donne à chacun la possibilité de trouver sa propre voie d'expression.
On apprend à observer, à sentir l'équilibre des formes et des couleurs, à simplifier pour n'exprimer que l'essentiel.
